PM Vishwakarma Yojana Registration
The PM Vishwakarma Yojana, often referred to as the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman, makes it simple to obtain collateral-free financing up to Rs 3 lakh at a 4-year interest rate of 5% p.a. This is a central sector initiative started by the MoMSME (Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), which provides services to craftsmen and craftspeople working in certain trades such as market linkage support, skill training, and encouragement for electronic transactions.
Registration process has already started from September 2023. After the verification and approval processes are complete, the candidates will be registered as Vishwakarma under the PM Vishwakarma scheme.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana Qualifications
The applicant must be a self-employed artist or craftsperson working in one of the 18 designated family-based traditional trades in the unorganized or informal sector. An applicant must be at least 18 years old on the registration date.
The applicant should not have taken out loans through comparable central or state credit-based programs for self-employment or company growth in the previous five years, such as PM SVANidhi, PMEGP, or MUDRA.
However, borrowers from MUDRA and SVANidhi who have paid off their debts in full may submit an application for a loan under PM Vishwakarma. The five years are computed from the loan approval date. A candidate who works for any state or federal government agency, together with his or her spouse and any unmarried children.

The Union Government would fully fund the PM Vishwakarma initiative with 13000 Cr. The Vishwakarmas, or artisans, will be registered for free through Common Services Centres using a biometric-based PM Vishwakarma portal under this scheme. A PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card will serve as recognition, and they will have the chance to expand their skills through both fundamental and advanced instruction.
